What print-cover files are generated and can I use custom printer sizes?

The purchased print-cover workflow generates a high-resolution full-cover PDF and flat image file for the back-spine-front layout, plus preview graphics including a PNG 3D view. The PDF and full-size image are prepared from the selected trim, bleed, and spine settings for KDP use.

You can also prepare a paperback for another printer. Start with a front cover using that printer's exact trim and bleed, then enter the spine width they provide in inches or millimeters. Confirm the final file requirements with the printer before uploading.

Front and back-cover files rendered before purchase remain watermarked. After purchasing the cover and print service, click Remake Cover again to generate clean downloads. Previously created files are not changed automatically, and you should also render again after later front, back, spine, trim, or page-count changes.
