Why does my full cover not fit every mockup?

Not every template is designed to display a complete book cover. Some mockups show only the front, part of the front, a narrow crop, a device screen, or an object with proportions that differ from a book cover.

If important title or author text is being cut off, try zooming out or repositioning the cover. If the available space is still the wrong shape, choose another template with a larger portrait book area. A good template should show the important cover artwork and readable text without forcing an awkward stretch.
